Historic Roosevelt Inn to be Preserved Amid New Development in Coeur d’Alene

Coeur d'Alene’s historic Roosevelt Inn is set to be preserved in a proposed redevelopment plan that includes a new 38-unit townhome complex. Blue Fern Management LLC's design, approved by the city’s Design Review Commission, preserves the inn and adds surrounding townhome buildings, totaling six with 74 parking spaces. Idaho Forensic Nurse Program Reaches Milestone with 250 SANEs Trained

The Idaho State Police recently celebrated training 250 Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) as part of a statewide initiative launched in 2017 to improve access to medical forensic care for sexual assault survivors. Public Hearing in Salmon Kicks Off Idaho Fish and Game Commission's November Meeting

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will meet on Nov. 6-7 in Salmon, Idaho. A public hearing at 7 p.m. on Nov. 6 allows for three-minute public comments on any Fish and Game matters. The main business session follows on Nov. 7, with topics including the 2025-2030 Fisheries Management Plan, Chronic Wasting Disease management, and updates from the Hunting and Technology Working Group. While public comments won't be accepted during the Nov. 7 meeting, it is open to the public both in-person and via Zoom.
