Boeing Workers Return to Factory Floor After Approving Improved Contract Package

Boeing factory workers in Seattle have ended a seven-week strike after voting to accept a new contract, including a 38% wage increase over four years, productivity bonuses, and a $12,000 ratification bonus. The strike, beginning in mid-September, halted production, costing Boeing an estimated $50 million daily. Nolan Hickman scored 17 points, Graham Ike had 15 points and eight rebounds, and No. 6 Gonzaga beat No. 8 Baylor 101-63 at Spokane Arena on Monday night in the teams' season-opener. Braden Huff added 14 points for the Bulldogs, who got their 19th consecutive season-opening victory

Angler Effort and Steelhead Catch Rate Moderate on Upper Salmon River

The latest steelhead fishing report for the Upper Salmon River, released by Idaho Fish and Game, highlights a modest angler turnout from October 28 to November 3, 2024. Effort and catch rates varied across river sections. Anglers in certain sections, like those downstream of the Middle Fork, experienced slower fishing, averaging 15 hours per steelhead caught. Water temperatures were in the upper 30s, with slightly cloudy conditions near the Lemhi River. Read More...
