Angler Effort and Steelhead Catch Rate Moderate on Upper Salmon River

The latest steelhead fishing report for the Upper Salmon River, released by Idaho Fish and Game, highlights a modest angler turnout from October 28 to November 3, 2024. Effort and catch rates varied across river sections. Anglers in certain sections, like those downstream of the Middle Fork, experienced slower fishing, averaging 15 hours per steelhead caught. Water temperatures were in the upper 30s, with slightly cloudy conditions near the Lemhi River. Read More...
