Celebrate Christmas with Coeur d'Alene Symphony’s Festive Holiday Concert

The Coeur d'Alene Symphony presents a magical holiday concert on Saturday, December 14th, featuring festive classics and a heartwarming narration of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. Pre-concert insights will begin at 6:30 PM, with the main performance at 7:30 PM at the Schuler Performing Arts Center, North Idaho College. Tickets are available at cdasymphony.org/tickets
Spread Holiday Cheer: Write Letters for Nursing Home Residents in Idaho

The Idaho Commission on Aging is inviting community members to write letters and cards to nursing home residents this holiday season to combat loneliness. Letters, addressed to “any resident,” can significantly uplift recipients, as seen in past examples. This initiative began in 2020 and continues to bring joy to hundreds each year. Generosity in Action: First Interstate Bank Supports Local Kids Through $5,000 Grant

The Kroc Center received a $5,000 grant from First Interstate Bank to support the Clothe a Child program, which provides $150 for clothing to local children and teens. Coeur d’Alene’s Evalyn Adams Honored for Feeding the Community

Evalyn Adams, founder of Coeur d’Alene’s Turkeys & More, retires after eight years of leading efforts to provide Thanksgiving meals for those in need. The nonprofit, which raised over $70,000 this year, has distributed thousands of turkeys and positively impacted the community under her guidance. Idaho Fish and Game Opens Public Comment on Big Game Proposals

Idaho Fish and Game is seeking public feedback on moose, bighorn sheep, and mountain goat hunting season proposals from December 19 to January 9, 2025. Open houses, including one in Coeur d'Alene on December 19, will provide opportunities to meet with staff and discuss the plans. Final decisions will be made on January 29. Learn More…
