Hey CDA Local Buzz Folks, we want you to meet Onyx ❤️. This is Onyx! She is a friendly, affectionate, long-haired 11-year-old feline - and loves to pose for the camera! She is declawed on her front paws, so keep her safe by keeping her inside. She has lived with male cats but not with dogs. She would be happiest in a calm, quiet home. Onyx is the perfect lap cat, and she would love to be adopted by you 🙏.
Companions Animal Center, formerly Kootenai Humane Society, has cared for and found homes for unwanted animals for over 45 years. Please visit our website companionsanimalcenter.org for more information or stop by Tuesdays through Sundays starting at noon each day. You can give to their causes in many ways, so please CLICK HERE to donate if you would like 🙏.

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling – North Idaho & Spokane, founded in 2020 by USMC veteran John Merwald, blends military values with exceptional service in junk removal and demolition. Based in Post Falls, Idaho, JDog began with a mission to create meaningful employment for veterans and their families. Over time, it has grown from a team of three to 15 employees, expanding its offerings to include demolition services. By integrating values like integrity, respect, and trust, JDog has earned a reputation for professionalism among clients such as realtors, contractors, and property managers.
Beyond business, JDog remains committed to giving back, offering free monthly services to veterans in need and engaging in local initiatives. John’s involvement on boards like the North Idaho Stand Down and the Inland Northwest Veterans Assistance League underscores the company’s dedication to community and veteran support.
Looking ahead, JDog plans to expand its team, introduce new services, and broaden its impact while continuing to build a stronger, more connected community.
