TVG Plumbing & Inspections, led by Coeur d’Alene native Bent Damschen, is more than just a plumbing service—it's a business built on trust, fairness, and community support. After running a successful home inspection company since 2013, Bent shifted his focus to plumbing full-time in 2024. His deep local knowledge and commitment to honest service have made TVG a go-to choice for homeowners looking for reliable and fairly priced plumbing solutions.
What truly sets TVG Plumbing & Inspections apart is its dedication to giving back. I-90 and SH-41 Interchange Sees
Traffic Shift Starting Monday

Drivers in Post Falls should prepare for a shift in traffic patterns starting next week, as work continues on the I-90 and SH-41 interchange project. Beginning Monday morning, crews will permanently open a new westbound on-ramp to I-90 from State Highway 41, marking a key milestone in the multi-phase construction effort.
This change is designed to improve traffic flow and safety by eliminating weaving and merging conflicts that the loop ramp had previously caused.
The updated ramp configuration is part of a larger $78 million project to revamp the interchange and accommodate growing traffic demands in Kootenai County. Once complete, the improved interchange is expected to enhance both safety and capacity in one of northern Idaho's busiest corridors.
Motorists are advised to pay close attention to signage and be prepared for altered driving routes as they adjust to the new layout. Read More…
Controversial Bills Aim to Grant Pesticide Manufacturers Legal Immunity

A coordinated push across several states is raising alarms among environmental and public health advocates, as lawmakers consider bills that would grant sweeping legal immunity to pesticide manufacturers. Critics are calling the proposals a new version of the "Monsanto Protection Act," warning that the changes could undermine consumer safety and block future legal claims related to pesticide harm.
The legislation, introduced in states such as Iowa, Idaho, and Missouri, seeks to prevent individuals and municipalities from suing pesticide producers over health or environmental impacts, even in cases involving long-term exposure or emerging scientific evidence. Supporters of the bills argue they are necessary to protect farmers and maintain access to crop protection tools, but opponents see the effort as a direct response to high-profile lawsuits, including those involving the weedkiller Roundup and its links to cancer.
