Celebrate Earth Month with Stewardship Events Across North Idaho

April is bringing a wave of environmental stewardship opportunities to North Idaho, inviting residents to get involved in protecting the regionās cherished natural resources. As part of the Our Gem Collaborative, various community events will be held throughout the month, encouraging active participation in sustaining the health of the Coeur dāAlene Lake and its surrounding watershed.
The month kicks off with a family-friendly celebration at McEuen Park in downtown Coeur dāAlene. This Earth Day event, scheduled for April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include educational booths, kidsā activities, local vendors, and live music. 20,000 Eggs at Easter Egg-stravaganza

Hundreds of children and families will gather on April 19th from 1-2 p in Coeur dāAlene for a lively and colorful celebration of spring at the annual Easter Egg-stravaganza. Hosted at McEuen Park, the event transformed the downtown green space into a festive playground filled with joy, laughter, and thousands of hidden treasures.
Organized by the Lake City Church, the free community event featured more than 20,000 Easter eggs scattered across the park, drawing kids of all ages in a spirited hunt.
