Election Season is upon us, and be
careful with your sign placement.

With election season underway, it’s important to prioritize safety when placing signs along Idaho highways. Signs should be posted outside the right-of-way (ROW), which includes road shoulders and drainage areas, to avoid blocking sightlines, distracting drivers, and interfering with road maintenance. Use fences or power poles as a guideline and keep signs between them and private property, not the highway. Always seek permission before posting on private property. Following these simple guidelines can help maintain safe and clear highways during election season.
