Kootenai County Opens New
No-Cost Health Clinic for Employees

Kootenai County has launched the Kootenai Member Health & Wellness Clinic, operated by PMR Healthcare, to provide county employees and their families with free and accessible healthcare services. The clinic offers a range of services, including primary, acute, and preventive care, with a focus on proactive health management. Appointments for acute issues are available within a day, addressing long wait times typically experienced in the Coeur d’Alene area. Craft Swap at the CDA Library: Exchange Your Unused Supplies at the Library!

The Coeur d’Alene Public Library is hosting a Craft Swap event for those looking to trade or acquire new craft supplies. Drop off gently used materials on October 3 and 4 at the Jameson Room. For each bag of supplies you donate, you'll receive a ticket to use on Swap Day, October 5, where you can fill a bag with new supplies. Non-swappers can also participate between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. with a suggested $2 donation. (Read More...)

North Idaho School Districts Receive State Funding for Security Officers

The Lakeland Joint and Wallace school districts in North Idaho will receive state funds through Idaho's School Resource Officer program to hire security officers. The Lakeland Joint School District will receive $80,000, while the Wallace School District will get $53,000, helping to enhance student and staff safety on their campuses. (Read More...)
