Troupe de Wolfe to Perform The Crucible at Lake City High

Lake City High School's Troupe de Wolfe is performing Arthur Miller's The Crucible, opening on Thursday, October 11. This classic play, set during the 1692 Salem Witch Trials, highlights the dangers of mass hysteria and false accusations, led by the character Abigail Williams. The show will run through October 26, with tickets priced between $5 and $7, depending on the attendee's status (students, staff, general admission). Performances are held at Lake City High School, located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. (Read More...) 

Ellen Travolta’s The Sound of Christmas to Brighten Coeur d'Alene Resort

Ellen Travolta is producing and starring in the holiday show The Sound of Christmas at The Coeur d'Alene Resort from November 29 through December 22. The show will feature the Shotwell family—Jenny, Dalton, Clark, and Skye—delivering a mix of music, stories, and festive traditions that evoke the Christmas spirit. Travolta promises a heartwarming and nostalgic experience. Performances will be held Thursday through Sunday, and tickets are available for $35​. (Read More...)

New Moose Lounge North Opens with Live Music and Game Room in Hayden

The Moose Lounge North has opened in Hayden at 10325 Government Way, offering a menu featuring "Smash Burgers" and the signature "Moose Mug." With rustic décor and a game room, it hosts live music on Thursdays through Saturdays. The venue has indoor and outdoor seating for over 100 people and serves breakfast on weekends. Operating hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekends. (Read More...)

Idaho Officials Investigate Elk Meat Dumping
in Bear Lake County

Idaho Fish and Game is investigating the illegal dumping of elk meat along a forest service road near Geneva in Bear Lake County. The discovery, made by a hunter on September 30, revealed four quarters of spoiled elk meat left at the roadside. Officials believe the person responsible may have mishandled the meat in unseasonably warm weather, causing it to spoil. The act is classified as waste of game, a crime in Idaho, and authorities are seeking information from the public to identify the culprit. (Read More...)
